On Saturday, March 15th, the Hove Men’s Vets team pulled off a cracking win against Haywards Heath, clinching the match 32-45 in a game that could only be described as "edge of your seat" stuff.

The players looked as if they had just discovered the fountain of youth, playing with a mix of finesse, grit, and possibly a bit of “I still got it” swagger.

The Hove squad’s chemistry was evident, with players working together like a finely tuned machine… even if that machine occasionally creaked and groaned like an old wardrobe. But hey, that's what makes them Vets right?

Now, with the win under their belts, Hove Men’s Vets are heading into the final on Saturday, March 29th, where they’ll face a mixed team from Seaford and Haywards Heath. It’s going to be another clash of the Titans/aged!
