For the second week in a row a request for consideration of our neighbours when parking around the club. Once again on Sunday we had cars parked across paths and on the grass. There are parking places down the side roads of Shirley Drive and Hove Park Road if there are no spaces right next to the club/pitches.

On the pitch it was great to have both men’s teams playing at home and both winning, the firsts won 27 – 12 against Kingston and the beef won 52 – 12 against Royals taking them to top of the league. On Sunday several of the women’s second team went up to join up with Heathfield & Waldron seconds in a friendly against a combined Worthing and Seaford team, it is great to see clubs working together to get game time for players.

This weekend we have the rearranged game against KCS Old Boys and there is a club lunch which will be served at 12:30pm with a main course of steak and ale pie or a vegetarian pie. Dessert is an apple crumble or a cheeseboard, cost £15. We will also be offering a two course children's lunch for £5 for any parents who wish to come along and bring the kids. On Sunday the women’s first team are away to play Heathfield and Waldron firsts in the first round of the RFU Women’s Intermediate Plate.
