Last weekend saw perfect weather for rugby as the sun finally came out. Unfortunately, the results on Saturday were not as favourable as the men’s first lost 24 – 38 against Haywards Heath and Brighton 2s won 19 – 72 against the Beef.

On Sunday we had our U11 festival, with feedback from multiple visiting clubs on how well it was run and praise for Yaz’s bacon rolls. Thans to Graeme and all the team for the hard work they put into running the festivals and to all the age groups who made changes to their training sessions to accommodate the festival.

Congratulations to the boys U13s who won their final league match against Haywards Heath finishing the season unbeaten in the league.

This weekend we have no senior games at home as the men’s first head to Weybridge Vandals, the beef are away at Uckfield and on Sunday the women head away to Havant. The club will be open on Saturday for the Six Nations as Ireland take on France in what could be the tournament decider, and can Wales continue their return to form against Scotland. The club will also be open on Sunday afternoon for the England v Italy game.

We will soon be launching the formal nominations for club awards, details and nomination forms will be on the website with a deadline to nominate of 31st March. So get your thinking caps on for which of our many volunteers you would like to nominate.
