After no games at the club on Saturday, Sunday saw bumper activity for the women. Starting off with the women’s vets playing their first ever game of touch against Crowborough, with over 35 women playing a fun and competitive game with Hove winning 5 tries to 4. The women’s first team took to the pitch against Hackney. After a strong start by Hackney who raced into a 0 -24 lead the women fought back finishing 24 – 36.

There is league rugby action at home on Saturday with the men’s firsts taking on Old Haileyburians with a 2pm kick off and the Beef play Pulborough with a 1pm kick off. On Sunday the women head off down the A27 to play Trojans.

There will be a club lunch before the games on Saturday, meal served at 12:30. Main course of beef or vegetarian lasagna followed by Chocolate Fudge Cake or a cheeseboard for £15 Kid’s menu of Spaghetti Bolognese followed by ice cream is also available for £6.
